It’s Feis Ceoil in Gaelic and it’s pronounced
Fish Coyle and whatever it is, it’s what Diana and Jerry Pam held for Steve
Boyd to celebrate his U.S. citizenship… The cake decoration designated Steve
as an “Ex-Irishman”….The guest of honor didn’t agree…
“That’s one thing,” said Steve, “you can’t ex-out of a Belfast Bhoyo
whose daddy came from Kerry” … Kay Gabel & Cesare Danova, same party ,
joined Esther Williams & Fernando Lamas in pouring a jigger of
Johnny-Jump-Up, a potion distilled on the banks of the Liffey, for UPIs Joe
Finnigan,. Elke Sommer signed to sirenize Steve in “The Unknown Battle…
Rosemarie Bowe beamed about Bob Stack. Alex Tucker, Steve’s business manager,
was on tap too for a drop of the gargle with a plate of coddle on the side, and
we were told Steve, whose 1963 take was a shade over $500,000 is now on a weekly
allowance of 25 bucks…
