At one point or another in his life, Stephen Boyd would boast about the fact that he was a Cancer with Leo rising and with that, expressed an interest in the science of astrology.

I found a web site called www.astro.com that is pretty neat if you are also interested in astrology and it gives you the ability to quickly draw your own personal astrology chart. Even if you don't believe in it, it is still kind of fun and it is part of the reason why I have decided to put Stephen's chart up here.

Leo Rising

You like to be the center of attention, to appear strong, confident and dominant, even if something is bothering you.

You like to be the leader, and you can be a good one as long as you remember that leadership is a responsibility as well as power and privilege.

You can be stubborn, especially if your pride is involved. You are idealistic, and people have to prove to you that they have integrity.

You like to have rich and elegant things that you can show off to others. But remember that just because something impresses people, it is not necessarily good. You need to learn the difference.

Others may or may not see you as beautiful or handsome, but as you grow up you will develop a regal bearing that will make others feel that you are dependable. Many people will like you, and most will also respect you.

Mars in Virgo

You are careful about what you do, because you feel that every action should be considered thoroughly and every move should have some purpose.

You will learn quite quickly to do the tasks that have to be done before getting into the activities you enjoy. And you will demand that others do the same, for you dislike irresponsibility in others as well as in yourself.

But try not to be too critical of others. Try to be more tolerant of other people's ways, and don't be so sure that your own notion of perfection is the only one. Others have their own ways of achieving, just as you do.

Mars in the Third House 3rd hs

You have a very aggressive intellect, so that you like to debate and argue with people, usually not to have a serious fight but a friendly argument.

Fortunately your mind works quite quickly, and you have a lot of mental energy. Just don't lose your curiosity about getting answers by concentrating all your energy on winning the argument.

When you are talking with people, be careful how you speak, because you tend to express yourself argumentatively even when you have nothing to fight about.

Neptune in Virgo

This was the silent generation of the 1950s, whose ideal was to settle down, get good jobs with security and become responsible members of society. They idealized work and duty somewhat, which weakened their desire to protest even when things went wrong in the world around them. The influence of Virgo made them feel that they were too insignificant to protest. However, even so, some of them were in the vanguard of the protest movements of the 1960s. However, their approach to large-scale social organization was a great deal more disciplined and in some ways conventional than that of the generation immediately following.

Saturn in the Sixth House 6th hs

While you are young, you may have to be careful about your health. However, as you get older you should become stronger and more robust, but only if you take care of yourself.

For a person of your age, you have a very serious attitude toward work and responsibility. Also you may have more responsibilities than other young people, which may cause you to lose out on some of the fun of being young. But you should learn to accept your lot, because the discipline you learn now will help you out later in life and may bring you considerable success. If you do nothing but complain and resent your situation, you will develop such a negative attitude that you will have difficulty with jobs all your life. Either you will find it hard to keep a job yourself or, if you employ others, you will have trouble with them.

But if you can accept this placement of Saturn as a positive lesson to be learned, you will eventually get great satisfaction from your work, which you will do very carefully. Moon in the Eighth House 8th hs

Your emotions are very powerful, and your moods go through regular cycles of change, so that you are always growing and evolving internally.

However, you are inclined to keep your feelings to yourself, even when you ought to discuss them with someone. It isn't good to bottle up your angry feelings.

Women will be very important in changing your life and you may "inherit" something from a woman.

You must learn to handle money and possessions carefully, because you will probably have to take care of other people's property.

You love anything mysterious, such as detective stories and crime novels.

Uranus in the Tenth House 10th hs

You are a very restless person who wants to do everything in your own way. Because you do not like being told what to do, you may have trouble getting along with authority figures such as parents, teachers and other officials. But your aims are not destructive. You just need freedom to find your own path, because that is the only way you can be really successful. If you try to take the same path everyone else does, your life will be full of disruptions and instability, and you will have a strong feeling of unfulfillment.

One of your parents is likely to be a strong individual also. This parent may not live up to your childhood expectations of what a mother or father should be, but nevertheless he or she is showing you the kind of path you should follow.

Later, in your career, you should try to find your own way of doing your job, your own unorthodox approach. This placement may favor work in a technical or scientific field or in astrology, social reform or any other field that involves change through originality and insight. You will always be upsetting to people who cannot bear to see change, but those who appreciate inventiveness and individuality will recognize your ability. Just learn to have enough discipline so that you can follow your own path, because without it you will simply dart from one activity to another without making any impact.

Uranus in Aries

It seems to indicate a generation of individuals who have an unusually strong drive for self-expression and who may have quite a bit of trouble conforming to society's norms. Certainly for this generation intense personal concern with individual freedom is stronger than concern with freedom as an abstract social issue. In other words, these people prefer to seek freedom for themselves on a day-to-day practical level rather than fight for freedom as a social principle. In fact, they might be rather apolitical except about issues that affect them personally.

Sun Square Uranus

This aspect indicates that you are likely to behave rashly and impulsively. You are inclined to rebel against authority figures of any kind, and such persons may resent you. However, you don't intend to do harm, you just want to be allowed to do things your way. But you will often have to prove that your way is best. You can't expect that others will just let you be. You have to recognize that because of the way you act and project yourself, other people will think you are throwing out a challenge, even when you are not trying to. Don't be surprised when others try to prevent you from having your way, even when it is quite reasonable.

You probably enjoy consciously prodding others to get out of their rut and move in new directions. You might express this by playing practical jokes on people. If so, remember to be careful of their feelings, for you may not be as sensitive to being hurt as others are. If you aren't careful, you may be disliked with good reason.

One result of your impetuousness, which you should watch out for, may be a tendency to have accidents. This is most likely to happen when your energies are frustrated and you act suddenly and impulsively. If you are feeling nervous and jumpy for any reason, be very careful around machines or anything else that could cause an accident. Even if an accident doesn't occur, you may provoke an incident or sudden encounter with another that leads to an angry blow-up. Often you may not even understand how you contributed to this.

Mercury Square Uranus

You are attracted to excitement and exciting ideas, but you may not be a very careful thinker. Also you may speak out impulsively without thinking about your words. You tend to jump to conclusions without having enough experience or knowledge. But if you can learn to control your mental energy, this aspect can help you escape from the limits of everyday thinking. You are able to grasp ideas that others cannot even imagine, because you have an unusual ability to think abstractly. But without self-control you will not carry these ideas far enough; you will go on to a new area before you have thought through the first one. You often find it difficult to concentrate. In fact you can sometimes work yourself into a nervous frenzy, simply because your energies are scattered. That is the time to slow down. But with discipline, you should be able to excel in mathematics and science, as well as subjects that require mechanical knowledge.

You often like to make outrageous remarks to people, for there is something of the prankster in you. You enjoy challenging other people's beliefs, forcing them to look at their ideas in a new way. This can be very constructive, although it may not be the best way to win friends, especially since you are not very sensitive. By doing this you can genuinely hurt people when you don t need to and shouldn't. Sometimes people do have to be jogged out of their stale old beliefs, but many times they should be left alone. Do not hurt people simply because you're feeling playful.

Jupiter Square Uranus

A restless person, you want everything to be better than it is immediately. As you get older, you will be willing to work to make the world better, but now you are quite impatient. Also you are unwilling to put up with any restriction or discipline, because you feel that total freedom will work out much better for you, that restrictions only prevent you from having fun. An adult may not agree, but there is some truth to your belief. You need to be given more room to find your way than most young people; otherwise, you are likely to be a disruptive discipline problem. Fortunately it is obvious to most adults that your intentions are positive, that at worst you are playful, and you do not mean any harm. But if you are held back too much, you may develop a resentment of authority that will last all your life and cause problems with bosses, officials, and anyone else in power over you.

As you get older, you will become interested in social reform because you will see traditional ways as obstacles to constructive change and growth. But you must realize that you would see traditions as harmful even if they were constructive, because you believe that new is good and old is bad. You will have to overcome this immature attitude, and you will have to learn to think more about other people's feelings and beliefs. You tend to get carried away by every interesting new idea and want to cram it down everyone's throat. If you get interested in a new philosophy of morals or ethics you may deny that any other philosophy is at all valid. Tolerance is an important lesson for you to learn.

Saturn Square Uranus

This aspect indicates considerable tension within you, which you can usually keep under control. However, it will occasionally burst out in the form of sudden, unpredictable acts, such as breaking away from relationships, bursts of temper and such. You will not be easily driven to this point, but you may unconsciously construct the conditions that bring you to it. You must make an effort to learn how to relax and release your tensions gradually. It is particularly important not to hold in all outward expressions of tension, because psychosomatic illnesses can result if you do.

This aspect may be expressed in another way, as a tension in your life between personal freedom and authority or sense of duty. One part of you is always trying to toe the line set by others, while another part wants to break free. Usually you feel that you can fulfill your obligations only by giving up personal freedom. It is difficult for you to be yourself, do what you want to do, and at the same time do what you have to do. Rebellious behavior, along with a tense and grudging acceptance of your duties, are characteristic of this aspect.

All of this may lead you to take a very negative view of persons in authority, such as parents, teachers, police and officials. And if you do not learn to handle the tension in your life, you could have serious collisions with such persons, which you are not likely to win. Learn to stand up for your rights without being negative and difficult. If you can build discipline into your own life, it will not have to be imposed from outside by people whom you resent.

Uranus Square Pluto

This placement was one of the aspects behind the great depression, and it signified a time of great upheaval and change. Under this aspect, Adolf Hitler came to power, an excellent example of the turbulent social forces embodied by it. Children born under this aspect must contend with a great deal of change and unpredictability in their lives, which might lead them to feel uneasy and insecure. Also some children born under this aspect are quite disruptive themselves.

Venus Sextile Uranus

You like to with interesting people, and some of your friends may be quite unusual. Ordinary people bore you very quickly. You need to find friends who fill your own unique needs and you also need to be free in your relationships.

You are not possessive of your friends. In fact, you enjoy having your friends around, because you like being with many different types of people. You don't demand that people pay constant attention to you, and you won't let anyone else demand your constant attention. If there is anything you cannot stand, it is possessiveness and jealousy among friends.

You may have unusual creative powers also, although this aspect by itself does not indicate artistic ability. However, if you are creative, your designs will be unusual in style and form. Also your tastes in decoration and personal style - clothing and jewelry - will be unique. While you are young, others may think you are odd, but as you get older, your particular style will look good, because it is your very own. Now, however, your parents may give you a lot of trouble about this matter because they want you to look more conventional.

When you are an adult, your relations with the opposite sex will also be unconventional, for you will insist on freedom to create unique relationships. If you have the courage to act out your own style in relationships, they should be quite happy ones

Neptune in the Second House 2nd hs

You probably have a lot to learn about the value of money and possessions. You may feel that money is not important to you, that the world will take care of you somehow. Or you may be very impractical about using money, so that others can talk you into buying things that have no real value or are not as they are represented. Learning to use money and other material resources properly is one of the important lessons of life, and the sooner you learn it, the better off you will be. However, you will never be very attached to money and possessions, so you are quite unselfish and willing to give whatever you can to others.

For some people, this placement works out very favorably in that they know instinctively where to find money and how to earn it. This is partly because they have a casual attitude about it. They know how to get money, but it is not a major concern in their lives, so they accept what comes. With this placement, if you are afraid that you will not have enough, that will probably be true. You must learn to relax about money, to use it intelligently and try to get only what you need.

If you ever feel tempted to gamble, be very cautious until you understand your real attitudes about money. If you are relaxed and calm, gambling may be all right for you. If you are not, you should avoid it completely.
