In Memoriam The Parting Glass Oh, all the money e'er I had, I spent in good company, And all the harm I've ever done, alas it was to none but me. And all I've done for want to wit to memory now I can't recall. So fill to me the parting glass, Good night and joy be with you all.
Oh all the comrades e'er I had, They're sorry for my going away. And all the sweethearts e'er I had, They'd wish me one more day to stay. But since it falls unto my lot, That I should rise and you should not. I gently rise and softly call, Good night and joy be with you all. Irish folksong
As this was a very sudden and unexpected death an autopsy was performed to determine cause of death. Cause of death was confirmed as Acute Cardiac Insufficiency caused by Thrombotic Occlusion of the left coronary artery. This was caused by hypertensive, occlusive arteriosclerotic, cardiovascular disease. Mr. Boyd had a history of hypertension and recently had been suffering from Hepatitis.
He was cremated and immortalized at Oakwood Memorial Park in
Los Angeles California

In addition, he was mentioned on his father and mother's grave near Bangor as a tribute to his love for his parents that he displayed so touchingly throughout his life.
His crypt in Los Angeles is located on the outside wall of a mausoleum, across the road from the the lawn where Bob Crane is buried. There are two mausoleums here (separated by a short lawn with statues of a woman and two lions.) When you stand at the curb, he is in the mausoleum to the left (south), Mausoleum #1, niche #257. His crypt is way up on the very top row, on the north wall (facing towards that middle with the statues.) To be more exact, his crypt is at the very top-left corner when you're facing this wall. The twin markers on his crypt are small and difficult to read from below (courtesy of Seeing Stars).
